About Me: I have been in Christian Education for 35+ years- in the regular classroom, music classroom and also administration. I adopted my daughter, Allison when I was teaching in Shanghai, China. My favorite things are spending time with my daughter, watching cooking and home improvement shows, our dogs – Biscuit, Kookie and Louis, our bunnies – Toby, Cinnabun and CoCo, a good rainy, cloudy day and most of all spending time with Jesus and the people of His church.

How Long Have I Been Teaching: For over 35 years, I have taught grades 1-8 in self contained classrooms, grades K-12 in the music classroom and been Assistant Principal, Principal and Director of World Languages at my last schools.
In the self contained classrooms I’ve taught Bible, English, Spelling, Reading, Math, Social Studies and Science.

How did I start teaching: What better way to live your life than doing something you love – working with kids! I especially love sharing the Christian faith with my students. Teaching allows me to impact lives – lives for Jesus!

Favorite Subject: My favorite subject was Bible a close second was Social Studies/History.
