Get to know me!

About Me: My husband Jon is an audio engineer, our whole home is filled with music! Our daughter Amber Lynn will be two in November and she is the absolute light of our life. God has blessed us with another arrow to add to our quiver, our son will be born December of 2022!

My hobbies are singing and going to church! I sing on the worship team at my church every week! My enjoyments are eating out with my family or decorating a new space.

Background: I have been working in a classroom setting for over 11 years, serving all different ages from 1 year – 1st grade. I have taught first grade for 4 years in my career! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona Christian University with my Education Degree and I specialize in Early Childhood Education and Child Development.

I have been teaching in many capacities for 11 years. It all began in a small Christian preschool and have evolved from many leading of classrooms, to teaching Kindergarten for 3 years and first grade for 4 years.

How did I start teaching: I chose teaching because God led me to it. I was initially going to college for other things. The Lord challenged me after I got saved to ask for a position at my church’s preschool. The rest is history! This is what I love to do and every day I wake up with joy ready to have an awesome day with my students!

Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 149 Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds. May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, to carry out the sentence written against them— this is the glory of all his faithful people. Praise the Lord.

Fun Fact:Mrs. Miller is an only child! I have no brothers and no sisters!
