About Me: My family brings such joy to my life! I have been married for 34 years, to my best friend! (He is always the favorite with our family and friends!)
We have four children, a “daughter in love”, and a “son in love”. We often joke that we like them more than our children. Now, double joy, with two precious grandbabies.
We all enjoy playing Corn Hole, Whiffle Ball, and board games. (Of course the boys all enjoy watching Chicago sports with their dad and friends)
I love hiking, and walking for exercise (Sometimes with everyone, and sometimes alone), reading, sewing, cooking and playing Hymns on the piano.
Background:
I graduated from High School from a small AZ High School.
Attended Grand Canyon College, and graduated from there, with a degree in Psychology/Sociology.
After my children were all in school, I completed by teaching certificate.
This year is my 10th year of teaching. I taught first grade a couple of years.
Currently, I work in reading intervention.
Teaching at DCCS gives me the opportunity to live out my faith, verbalize my faith, and read the Word/ pray with all of my students. What a treasure that is to me!
